A very relaxed coastal venue great for celebrating. It was the perfect spot for our friends engagement party with around 50 guests. The meals were a little small but they had some great fun options for their mexican themed cocktails.

Great night out at The Prickly Piñata. Such a different take on your standard mexican, and I loved it. The food, the atmosphere, the decor and the company all made for a magical evening. Well presented staff serving well presented food, I thoroughly enjoyed the evening...and it wasn't expensive either. Beautiful night thank you.

The whole vibe in this place is incredible. Always busy, always a great meal. The staff are very friendly and very efficient. The owner is a lovely man, whom has been there every night we have dined here. It is family friendly, however I found that they don't cater well for young children. The meals have been too hot for my little ones, but that hasn't stopped us from coming back again and again. This, by far, is one of the best mexican restaurants I have had the pleasure of eating at. Highly recommend this dining experience!

Visiting friends at the coast they took me out for some Mexican Food. I was pleasantly surprised about the menu, a fresh take on your regular taco's for sure. I ordered the 3 taco's and made sure to sample the different meats. Unlike your every day Mexican, I didn't leave with that heavy full feeling. Really really enjoyed my dining experience here. I do recommend their mojitos, made to perfection. Can't wait to come visit again.

I first came here the week it opened and fell in love with the place. Mexican isn't my usual choice in restaurants, but what Prickly Piñata offers is a totally unique dining experience. The food is fresh, and I mean it has a totally different twist to your usual mince and fatty cheese covered taco. I have been back a few times, and they change the menu ever so slightly that I have had the opportunity to try something new every visit. From the relaxed atmosphere, to the fantastic attentive young staff...it has a real Summer vibe going on! I would rate Prickly Piñata as one of my favourite restaurants on the coast. If you haven't visited, then you should make it your mission. This place is taste sensation!
