The People's Ink

The People's Ink was created by Ryan and Astrid in 2017. They joined forces and merged their creativity and business skills to create the studio they felt was missing from the industry. They wanted to create a tattoo studio that was unlike any other on the Sunshine Coast. It is light filled, adorned with greenery and has a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. They wanted a space that people could feel at ease and be completely themselves. A safe space. A family friendly space. A space to express and be creative in. The People's ink motto is "Creating for the People". This expresses how they collaborate and work alongside their clients to create the tattoo they are dreaming up and to make sure the design is something they are truly happy with and can wear with pride. The People's Ink is an intentional studio that acknowledges and honours all the different life paths and journeys people are on. They understand and respect the intimacy of getting tattooed and the courage it takes to commit to permanent body markings. Ryan and Astrid live among the Yandina community on 65 acres of land with their four children, cat and chickens. They spend their free time with their family at the local waterfalls, hiking forest trails and surfing Noosa's famous coastline. The studio is a refection of their connection with nature and their love for the beauty in wild things.
