Honesty in a mechanic is what I seek and I recommend this business.

I’ve had my Colorado in the work shop a few times for regular services, which the first couple times seemed to be pretty good with what I seen. But since the last couple services had nothing but trouble had to take my Ute back several times the most recent one been at the last service they hadn’t checked my rear brake pads properly I had this awful squealing noise which was from the rear of the vehicle I decided to check them myself and they were down to bear metal so had been like that a fair while. For me that was terrible since I have a 5 year old son that is with me regularly not at all safe in my opinion or just for my whole family they didn’t seem to care one bit. So out of that I would not recommend going there if your fussy with your vehicles like I am and wanting a good quality service or wheel alignments don’t bother.

First time I have had my car serviced here and was super impressed with the service provided, and the very reasonable price. Steve and his team were great to deal with and would recommend The Motor Shoppe for anyone wanting professional, genuine mechanical advice without being overcharged and taken for a ride. Will definitely be returning customers for any of our future mechanical needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are aftermarket parts as safe and effective as original equipment parts?

Most aftermarket parts are made from the same companies that supply original equipment. They might be marketed by a different brand, but they are the same product. Some aftermarket parts even meet and exceed manufacturers specifications. We use our extensive experience to make a judgement call on price and quality.

Do I have to take my car to the dealer to keep my new car warranty?

You do not have to take your car to the dealer to keep your new car warranty. Because we are qualified mechanics and use genuine parts on Logbook Servicing, your warranty won't be affected (as stated by the ACCC).
