The Local Court Lawyers will meet with you and talk about your situation (there is no fee for this - whether you proceed with us, or not). Our team will explain the law and penalties to you, find out from you the circumstances about how and why you were charged and give you advice on whether to plead guilty or not guilty. Once this has been done, we'll explain your options to you, any available defenses, formulate the best strategy for your case and advise you on anything you can do to improve your position - for example, a course, some counselling, a doctor's report. The Local Court Lawyers appear in all local courts between Grafton and Tweed Heads. We can attend other courts or we can refer you to a practitioner in the town or suburb you require.
