As a rule of thumb take clothes that can be layered (including something warm) and that are easily washed and will dry quickly. In places prone to tsetse fly it is best to avoid dark colours. Various camps and lodges along the way will have a laundry service- although many will not do womens' smalls

A trip of a lifetime! Words cannot express how grateful we are for the experiences we had on our trip to Rwanda and Tanzania fully organised by Teena and Steve. Oh my goodness, Teena and Steve have an incredible amount of knowledge about Africa! What medication or vaccinations do I need?

Everyone must visit their GP or a travel doctor to obtain the correct medical information for their current situation. Depending on your situation you may be exempt from some vaccinations eg Yellow Fever. However you must make sure this doesn't affect any country you are transiting through. Eg Singapore is extremely strict with Yellow Fever requirements.
