I had a similar experience. Absolutely devastated with the job and communication from Sharon and the Gleam team. It was paid for as end of lease clean. The windows had spider webs still on them. The kitchen cupboards were not wiped down, they did damage to the bathroom. The walls and carpet had not been touched in the living areas. The sides of the oven had not been done. We had no success trying to reason with the Gleam Team. Very disappointing.

If I could give this company no stars I would. We hired the Gleam Team to do a "For Sale" Clean, and were gifted 30 hours to help my family as we had been going through a tough time. When I came home after the staff had left (after 6hours) I was beyond disappointed, not only did the majority of the house look the same as we had left it, the cleaners had also damaged our bench top, broken my daughters potty and thrown it on her bedroom floor, used a corrosive product on our security screen and striped the surface of the front door. I rang Sharon and asked her to come and look at the house and also took a series of photos which I texted through to show her the damage done and also show her that the floors had not being vacuumed let alone mopped, the lights were still full of dust, the kitchen cupboards and fridge had not being wiped down, let alone any of the surfaces in the living areas. I was unable to get through and left a message. Instead of Sharon returning my call, her partner Lori who had performed the clean did. To say that he was abrasive is an understatement. Not only did he refuse to accept any responsibility for the damage done, when I pointed out that the main areas of the house hadn't been cleaned the response was 'Are you perfect?!'Following this I repeatedly asked to talk to Sharon who then talked to me with the loudspeaker setting on and Lori yelling at me over her shoulder. I had to say a number of times that I just wanted to resolve the situation, and as we clearly couldn't I would like the remaining unused hours reimbursed. We were gifted 30 hours and the couple said that what they had done was equivalent to 27hours! The floors hadn't been done, 2/3 of the windows hadnt been done, the kitchen cupboards and fridge hadn't been wiped down, only some of the skirting boards had been cleaned, none of the living area surfaces had been done. The ensuite still had mould in the grout and there was still hair on the floor. I couldn't believe it. I was shocked by how aggressive Lori was over the phone and also that they never once apologized or offered to amend the situation. My husband had to spend hours sanding back our kitchen bench top and resurfacing it as one of the cleaners must have had an oven-cleaner product on his hand and had left a hand print on the timber bench tops. When I tried to talk to Sharon about the time that it would take my husband to do the work, Lori yelled from the background "your husband would be only worth $15/hr!" Before I had called to complain the men had said they would be back the next day to finish the windows though after my complaints they refused to complete the windows. It took them over two weeks to reimburse the remaining hours, (27hours of work had clearly not been performed) and I had to send multiple texts to chase the money, and never received an itemized invoice, which I had requested. I had to employ another company who came in and were shocked by our experience and also the tardiness of the work, the did the most amazing job. The house was perfectly presented and ready for the real estate to come straight in and take photos. They went out and bought us flowers to apologize for the work that 'The Gleam Team' had done. Once every room was completed they double-checked one another's work. The women were kind, caring and happy which made the whole experience a blessing after negative experience of using the Gleam Team. This review was written in the hope that no one else has to go through the same amount of unnecessary stress and disappointment.
