The Fence Shop

I wanted to support local businesses so I called the Fence Shop. I paid a hefty deposit and waited, and waited and waited. After numerous phone calls, the fence was erected. However, it was built with WET MOULDY WOOD, the nails weren't hammered in a straight line and some were sticking out. I'm no chippy, however, I do know green wood will dry around nails, warp, crack and rot in no time. SHAME ON YOU.

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with, beware! Communication very poor Constant delays, office procedures poor (failed to process my order) which led to longer unnecessary wait delays Work done by independent contractors who smoked on my property and left their cigarette butts all over my garden. Installed gate lock UPSIDE DOWN Beware!

I found that they weren't very helpful when it came to having to fix something up on the fence. I never met anyone on site to discuss before the fence was installed. When I rang to get the gate fixed they wanted me to pay to get it fixed and were not very accommodating at all. When I rang to cancel as I got a friend to fix the gate the guy there basically told me, I saved him the trouble! Also asked to speak to manager about this and never got a return phone call.

I cannot say enough about the way in which my job was done from start to finish was excellent and the job was done in a very professional and quick manner. Paul was excellent to deal with and I can highly recommend the TEAM at the Fence Shop if you are looking for a beautiful looking fence . after the job was done I received a phone call from them to make sure I was totally happy and satisfied with everything. These guys were just so easy to work with. I've used them twice in the past 4 years. One was a supply and the other supply and contract work. Both times they were the best quote I got and easy to work with. Thanks !!

I contacted the Fence Shop to supply and install a new colorbond fence down either side of my house and a chain wire fence across the back of my property. Approximately 83 meters in total. I was told it would be a 3-4 day job. The start date was pushed out by 10 days and the installation took 14 days and left me unable to secure my property for a full 2 weeks. after completion and email was sent by myself to the company with photos of defects from the construction works and i received no reply. That was until i received an email 2 months later with an invoice attached requesting the outstanding amount of money($1000) to be paid in full. several emails later i was assured that i was going to be contacted by the owner which never happened. It took 8 months to get resolved which is a disgrace in any service industry including construction. The company should be ashamed of how it was handled. the only praise i can give them is when the matter was rectified by an employee who had only been there 2 months. I would not recommend them to anyone.
