What is the difference between conventional and immediate Denture?

Conventional dentures are made and inserted after teeth have been removed and the tissue has healed (this healing process may take several months). Immediate dentures are inserted immediately after teeth have been removed which means that your dentist will need to take impressions of your mouth during your treatment.

What will Dentures feel like?

New dentures may feel awkward and even uncomfortable for a few weeks until you become accustomed to them. The dentures may feel loose while the muscles of your cheek and tongue learn to keep them in place. You may also notice an excessive amount of saliva being produced while your mouth adjusts. It is not unusual to experience minor irritation or soreness during this period.

I have had several sets of dentures over a period of 30 years. Upon stumbling on Aaron Pryor, it was the best experience to happen to me. This set of dentures fit like a glove and I have not had such a well made pair in 30 years. All the staff are super friendly and very obliging, nothing is too much trouble. I debated whether I should go for a partial plate or an implant when my dentist informed me that a top, front tooth had to be removed. Aron gave valuable advice and explained it all in my language. He recommended a partial plate as he could also hang two missing molar teeth on it for very little extra cost. He said an implant required a temporary tooth in any case while the gum and bone settled. I am delighted with the result and I hardly know it is there. I thoroughly recommend his practice for professionalism, a very competitive cost and friendly service. Max
