New equipment does not have to be tested to AS/NZS3760:2010 but it must have a new to service tag attached with the date it came into service, date of next test, persons name who placed the tag on the new equipment,and the wording" not tested to AS/NZS3760:2010" . Best practice as recommended by Test Right Services is to have all new equipment tested. New equipment off the shelf has been failed.
