I have waited for 2.5hrs for a taxi and still didn't come. Rang about 6 times and keep being told it was proity but still no taxi turned up. It is now 2:36!, and still no taxi and I'm not safe and told taxi operators and she was so rude and kept telling me taxi wa going to be there soon. I have no had to walk from one side of mt isa to the other by myself as a female. Not happy with all the duty of care! I will be calling head office to make an official complaint!!!! I have been harrsed and had people intimate me as I was walking home!!!! Thank u United cabs for putting my life in danger!!!!!!! Not happy.... you are lucky nothing bad happened!!!!!!! I have thick skin.... what if what a teenager!!!! Can send proof of phone calls and times if need be. The lady that answered phone was very disrespectful and rude.

The lady who answered the phone was super rude and had no patience or manners what so ever, basically yelling at me through the phone.

They are rude, they pick and choose who too pick up they don’t like going too certain areas in mount isa!!!

I've been using United for 18 days at least twice a day and they've been on time less than 5 days. The drivers choose their own jobs so will forgoe you if they think there is a bigger fare. Gone are the days of all fares accepted. Even booking one for a certain time will not help. I've seen 20 drive past me to the airport whilst they are now 15 mins kate in picking me up. Terrible unprofessional service. Their cabs are grubby as well.

Have had wonderful taxi drivers. I'm staying in Mt Isa for 3 weeks for work. Been getting taxis from Cooper City Motel to Hospital (work) is never more than $10.60. Plus on Sunday I needed groceries and ask for a taxi to Woolies the taxi driver was kind enough to let me know Woolies/Coles close Sunday. So I went to Foodworks without wasting a trip.

United Cabs in Mount Isa is beyond a joke. 2 hour wait times. Yet when you go any where you see cabs parked up doing nothing. Then when you call the cab number back you get told “we are extremely busy” then get hung up on because you “say just cancel it”. The only reason they make any money is because we have no other means of public transport in Mount Isa.

My experience with the lady whom answer this call was absolutely disgusting. Never met such a rude and nasty woman who works for customer service ?!? Always has to have the last day and the customer is always WRONG ?!? And I am not the only person who feel this way, a lot of locals in mount Isa have had the exact same experience with her. Thank goodness some of the taxi drivers give there personals numbers to go direct to them. Saves us all the headache of listening to a sarcastic woman.

Trying to get a Taxi in the evening is just crazy, we waited 40 minutes from the Buffs to get home WTH 🤔

Don't even answer there phone!
