At Tamworth Hapkido Moohakkwan, we have been servicing the community for 24 years. We focus on defense rather than offense, and our program is designed to neutralise an opponent through a range of techniques. These techniques include, joint locks, grappling and throwing, as well as kick punches and striking attacks. Hapkido is a highly eclectic form of Korean martial art. Not just a form of martial art, Hapkido is designed to promote clarity and calm in the human spirit. Hapkido can also involve the use of traditional weapons including swords, staffs, kinves, ropes and canes. Traditionally, a training Uniform is worn during sessions and these can be purchased through your instructor.
