Frequently Asked Questions

When should I feed my baby before a lesson?

Whether or not your child is on solids, we recommend feeding them at least 45 minutes to one hour before their swimming lesson. This gives them plenty of time to digest their food. If your child is on solids, we recommend having just a light meal or snack before swimming.

How can I prepare my baby for swimming lessons?

The best way to prepare your baby is to get them used to spending time in the water. Playing and splashing in the bath is a great way to get them familiarised with water and show them that it’s a safe and comfortable place to be. You could also try visiting your local pool so your baby gets to experience the atmosphere and surroundings before their first lesson.
