Good sushi

I've been to this Sushi Train a fair few times now, once for dinner and a few times for lunch, even grabbed a nice platter to take away. The service is great and the food is always yummy and fresh. Always parking available at the shopping centre and theres quite a lot of seating inside.

Sushi Train Miami used to be my favourite hang out for sushi. It's quality if sushi second-to-none. But it's come back a bit lately.

We went to Sushi Train in Oxenford last night, after lining up for 30 mins due to the 5th anniversary (all plates $3.00) we were seated. We ordered 2 green teas and 2 Scallop Nigiri + 2 Aburi Salmon +2 Salmon with Salmon eggs. After some 25 min we enquired as to where was our order, only to be told sold out. If sold out why take our order? When we enquired what happened all the staff can say is "sorry sorry." Sorry for what, we were watching and yes there were a lot of takeaway orders but still they did not make our order. Then to my amazement the couple sitting next to us on the right received 2 plates of Scallop Nigiri? When we asked why they can get theres and we can't, the staff once again said sorry, but when we asked again why, they said it just sold out???? But we ordered 25 minutes before the couple next to us as they sat down after we had sat down and ordered??????? Never go there again + all they had on the sushi train conveyor belt was chicken sushi (which isn't even sushi as sushi is seafood not a bird).

Meal 14th Feb

We normally have a good experience at Sushi Train The Pines, but tonight the14th was shocking. The choice of plates was almost nil, so I ordered 2 plates from the girl and in a little while they turned up. We asked the girl why there no food and she said "caught of guard", so we waited. There was very little to pick from as around the corner many people where in the same boat, so by the time it got to us there was very little. You could lay your hand on the train with no plates coming around. So we paid and went across to McDonald's. Sorry not good enough. Cheers Paul.
