Coomera is a suburb of the Gold Coast, in Queensland. It is situated next to the M1 Pacific Highway to the east and bordered by the beautiful Coomera River. The neighbouring suburb of Upper Coomera is located on the western side of the highway in the Hinterlands.
A fast growing satellite city, Coomera is destined for some major development in future years, with a master-plan underway it is set for a large shopping centre, TAFE and more residential estates on Coomera River. Gold Coast City Marina and Shipyard reside on the Coomera River. 15 hectares in size with over 50 onsite individual marine businesses covering every facet of the marine industry makes it the most comprehensive marine facility in the Southern Hemisphere and provider of employment to the local community.
