About Studio 153 Design

Studio 153 is a multi-disciplinary design practice, based in Pottsville on the beautiful Tweed Coast NSW, integrating architecture, urban design, graphic design, interior design and art. Where ideas are formed, challenged and explored to their limits. We offer a collaborative approach to building design. With a focus on aesthetics, lifestyle, contemporary coastal, hinterland and heritage. John graduated Architecture from the University of Technology of Sydney (First Class Honours) and Town Planning from the University of New South Wales. After a long design apprenticeship within both international and locally acclaimed architectural practices, John and his family had the good sense to relocate from Sydney to the beautiful north coast where he has been living, working and surfing (badly) for the past decade. Our Graphic Designer, Natalie, has over 16 years national and international design experience including heading up a large corporate design studio as well as collaborating on major marketing campaigns for high end multi-unit residential developments. Drawing influence from the vibrancy and creativity of the north coast community, Natalie loves bringing new brands to life as well as revitalising tired old designs to reach new business potential.
