We cannot recommend this Motel highly enough. Robyn was amazing when we had totally mucked up our booking. Great attention to detail. Best shower we have had in 3 weeks. Definitely a hidden gem. Thank you for a great stay.

Thanks to Robyn and Gary, the 2 bedroom apartment we had for almost 2 weeks had everything we needed - from the comfortable beds and nice linen, to the well appointed kitchen with large fridge, we settled in easily. With great views of Castle Hill out the back and the beach and Magnetic Island out the front, we were close to restaurants, bars, takeaways and the supermarket. Great accommodation and would definitely stay there again as the hosts and staff were lovely to deal with.

Thanks to Robyn and the team for a lovely stay. A top, central location and I enjoyed my breakfast on location which was next to my room. It was ideal as it was raining that day and I didn't have far to go. Will see you all again soon.

We had a fantastic stay at Strand motel a few weeks ago The managers wrre so friendly and helpful and the rooms were so lovely and clean Great location and highly recommend staying here Can't wait for next Townsville trip

Outstanding service, very convenient . Great staff...Directly over from the beach 🏝 .Perfect location Also has a 🏊♀️ pool so great for relaxing

Booked 4 nights Never stayed. Reception, dirty& messy, back wall has coffee stains running down smeared.Was horrified entered 2 bedroom accomodation on ground floor. Was nothing like the photos on the website. Busted walls, old & ruined, bathroom soap holder busted off wall tiles, mould in grout been there a very long time, toilet in dark narrow area, floor had dust & hair, shower floor had dirt & muddy foot marks, found a 3cm sharp tac on floor in living-room could have endangered our 12month child, kitchen bench half cut off at end left exposed, cafe tables right outside unit, can hear people drinking and laughing, lounge suite well worn & musty looking couldn't bare seeing our 12 month laying on it, old power-points and cables running along the wall 80's era, Black mould under building stairs & deteriorating asbestos, I don't think there were smoke alarms, Positive this unit would not pass current regulations. Raised this with Alex-Manager charged us 1 day stay.
