o funny. I’ve spent thousands of dollars here;coming every single day before work and then weekends with husband. Today I went alone,ordered a takeaway coffee (it came in a non takeaway mug) and ordered a kids pancakes. Let me be clear-I’m an adult,I bought a kids meal bc I don’t eat that much. So I paid nearly $15 for two pancakes and it came with a free kids drink-either a milkshake or pop top. I ordered the milkshake,it didn’t come,I assumed they forgot it. So as I left I asked the girl that is always sooo lovely to me (eyeroll bc it’s so fake) could I just grab the pop top instead? She then tells me that NO I CANT HAVE THE POPTOP BC IT WAS A KIDS MEAL ANS IM AN ADULT. So I paid nearly $15 for the kids meal but I can’t have the drink bc I’m an adult. She said oh I thought you were waiting for someone and that’s who the kids meal was for. SERIOUSLY??? You got your money,and you are so mean you couldn’t give me a $3 drink I paid for???? I am so glad I saw this today so now I will neve

Do yourself a favour and eat somewhere else. Poor quality food, overpriced for the rubbish that is, bad customer service, snarly staff really not happy to be there. Cleanliness of cutlery and plates and glasses is really quite poor First time there is also going to be my last time there.

I am a jogger, and I ran almost 7km on Australia Day to Parkside Plaza. Without any money on me and being extremely hot and dehydrated, I stopped in at Stella Rossa hoping to get a glass of tap-water. But, I was rudely refused service if I didn't buy anything. I mentioned that I had no cash on me, as I was jogging, and the cashier pointed at the public bathrooms and told me to get a drink from there instead. I noticed there were no customers in the shop at the time. They were not busy at all, in fact the workers were sitting down laughing among themselves. I was appalled at the absolute lack of common courtesy. What world do we live in where you can't even get a drink of tap water?! Even McDonalds gives the courtesy of free tap water. I'm extremely disgusted at the way I was treated. I now boycott this cafe' and you should too.

My first time at Stella Rosa at Parkside. Very warm and frienly service with nice & efficient staff. Excellent lunch and very good coffee. Might be my first visit, but won't be my last. Give it a try -you will most certainly not be disappointed.

Great place to call in and grab a Chai on the go. The staff are super helpful and the service great.

A great breakfast, friendly staff and good service, i incorrectly read the menu, and did not advise the staff of an intolerance. Completely my error, but the staff dealt with it for me and were excellent in dealing with my issue, a great coffee too! Will be back

I come here often with friends for a catch up, the food an service is always great, and reasonably priced. My most preferred place for lunch in town.

Visiting from Airlie Beach but working in Mackay for a few days...had a coffee this morning & it was so good I came back again this afternoon. My new coffee pit stop!!! Love it!!

I recently had a nice breakfast here, and was super impressed with the service and the food. We were looked after as soon as we sat down, and all the staff appeared to be happy and cheerful. Sorry I didnt catch the name of the girl who took care of us but she had red hair who was very helpful. She answered any questions we had and kept us informed on waiting times etc. It started to rain, and she came out and offered to help us move our things inside. We were nearly finishetd eating so it didnt bother us but I thought that was a really nice added gesture on her behalf. Thank you. You all did a "stella" job!

Went into Stellarossa the other day to have lunch with my sister, and we ordered a glass of sauvignon blanc and a glass of pinot noir. The pinot noir came out in a glass of white instead of red, but that was sure sorted quick enough. The steaks did take a little while to come out, although we think that was because we ordered one medium well, and one rare. Once they had come out, they were well worth the wait—cooked perfectly, and we sent compliments back to the chef when the waitress came to collect our plates. Great service, and meal. Thank you Stellarossa.
