Steelarc Engineering is a Mackay based, family owned business, established in 2006 by John Calvert and Heath Hamilton, who have a combined experience of over 30 years in the construction and mining industries. Steelarc Engineering is an engineering and fabrication one-stop-shop, offering a full range of services; design and drafting, site measurement, machining, abrasive blasting, painting and certification.

A fully equipped engineering workshop containing a 180 tonne brake press, 80 tonne punch and shears, a 12 mm 4 metre bed guillotine, section rollers, pipe rollers, band saws, plasma cutters and twin pulse MIG welders for stainless steel or alloy welding allows Steelarc to fabricate high-quality products of all sizes. From small items such as custom-built aluminium toolboxes, fuel tanks and ute trays and canopies through to mast head, gantry and dragline boom walkways, Steelarc's products are all fabricated to the same exacting standards. Steelarc Engineering also offers a 24-hour onsite repair and maintenance service with all staff and equipment mine-compliant.

Steelarc's labour hire division can provide experienced boilermakers and trade assistants for short or long term hire. Our staff hold all the necessary tickets and induction certificates are highly experienced with excellent safety records.
