I would have to rate this store the worst store I have used over 20 minutes on the phone and still no answer a waste of time

I usually get a nice experience at Spotlight. But recently I approached the counter as two young assistants were chatting together. I was told the total to pay. I used the eftpos for my purchases, then I had to reach over the counter to get my goods as the two young assistants stood facing each other in depth conversation about their private lives like I wasn’t even there! They actually looked inconvenienced that they had to serve me!

Thank you to the beautiful lady who went above and beyond to find what I was looking for , you made my day and what an asset you must be to your wonderful team . I believe your name is Trish , if not then I’m sure the lady I am referring to will remember me from this morning when I purchased some material and a couple other things that I have been struggling to find . Doing your job just made my day so complete.... from my heart a big thank you 🙏

Ashmore Spotlight is a fantastic store & mature staff extremely helpful, polite etc. However, purchased curtains for our new home 10 months ago. Every set except one is fine. Purchased a dark blue/green set with blockout backing. Followed washing instructions but blockout backing completely disintegrated & material was left with holes in it. Paid a lot of money for all the curtains but this set needs replacing - it is horrific. It is not the fault of staff at the store. However, the buyers need to be aware of how bad this product is so they don’t purchase this product again. Very disappointed & since I can’t afford to replace this set, they are hanging up in this state. Please ask buyers to research durability of products they order before they are sold. Would have saved myself a lot of money if I had gone to an op shop instead. At least I would have block out curtains that didn’t fall apart.
