Over the last 15 months I have been seeing Dr Fernando because of cataracts in both eyes, he was very caring very professional and explained everything including the procedure all the way through. I must admit like most people I was terrified of having the surgery but after the first eye I was keen to get the second one done as there is nothing to be scared of. Dr Fernando and his teem were brilliant and the whole staff at the eye centre couldn't be more professional. My eyes are now like new and I would recommend Dr Fernando to anyone who has cataract problems.

Can't speak highly enough of Glen Fernando. I have had cataract surgery on both eyes, Glen and his team were very professional, a big tick for me.

Dr. Fernando came highly recommended and he did not disappoint. I was very apprehensive but Dr. Fernando put me at ease. Dr Glen Fernando removed a Pterygium from my eye - I am very happy with his work, the surgery and the after surgery care has been excellent! I can totally recommend Dr Fernando and his team for eye care.

In March this year [2023] I had ASLA surgery to my left eye performed by Dr Glen Fernando. The result is fantastic. I now have great vision and the success of this procedure has changed my life. I have been able to resume the many activities I had ceased after wrong lens insertion during cataract surgery elsewhere in NSW in 2020. After initial referral to Dr Fernando by my optometrist I was given an appointment for full assessment within a few days. Dr Fernando's concern for my distressing situation was a great relief. An appointment to undergo ASLA was made very soon after I agreed to this procedure. From the first appointment, surgery and all follow up appointments my experience with Specialist Eye Centre in Bathurst has been excellent. Dr Fernando restored my faith in the medical profession and was able to offer an effective, minimally invasive procedure to restore excellent vision to my left eye. Thankyou Dr Fernando.

I just had surgery in both eyes for cataract and corrective lens by Dr Glen Fernando, and am over the moon with the result of 20/20 vision in one eye at least. The whole process was meticulously coordinated, surgery was quick and painless, all the staff were most efficient and caring. Having great vision after so many years of wearing glasses is priceless. What more does anyone need!

I would highly recommend Dr Fernando to anyone who is looking to have eye surgery, I had cataract and lens replacement in both eyes December and January. I presented with a number of complex eye issues for Dr Fernando to navigate around and that he did, I am now completely glasses free. Words can not explain what this means to me Thankyou.
