About Southern Tasmanian Community Orchestra
The Southern Tasmanian Community Orchestra, based in New Town, invites string players, especially older beginners and those returning to their instruments, to join a friendly and fun ensemble. Under the guidance of skilled conductors and teachers, participants hone their orchestral techniques, exploring bowing, dynamics and musical interpretation. Emphasising enjoyment and social interaction, this group makes music-making an enriching experience.
