Jodie was fantastic to deal with, she explained every thing to me and if i wasn't sure she explained further nothing was too much trouble and she proved a booklet to help with the transition to hearing better plus hints and tips thanks you Jodie

Thank you Bryan, it was a pleasure.

Being 57 years of age (and male LOL), I was reluctant to talk to someone about my hearing. That reluctance was heightened by an unsavoury experience with a hearing aid seller at a local shopping centre who tried to convince me to pay $10k plus for a hearing aid based on what appeared to be a 10 minute test designed to sell a particular product. And so I left it. Fast forward a few years and I was lucky enough to connect with Jodie Stewart and the team at South Coast Hearing Solutions - an independent audiology specialist. I could tell from the start that this was a professional allied health service focussed on my hearing needs - not simply on selling a product. We went through an extensive assessment and then discussed possible hearing aid solutions that were tailored to the profile of my hearing loss. I am now the proud wearer of in-ear hearing aids and more the better for it. What a difference. Couldnt recommend Jodie and the team more strongly !

Thank you Mark, I am so pleased the hearing devices are working well for you!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is involved in getting a hearing implant?

You can be referred to a hearing implant provider by your primary care physician, clinical scientist, clinical physiologist, audiologist, ENT consultant, audiological physician or any other healthcare professional responsible for your hearing care. The evaluation process includes carrying out hearing tests, which focus on electrophysiological and objective examinations.

How do doctors diagnose hearing loss?

If you experience any of the signs or symptoms of hearing loss, you need to get your hearing tested by an audiologist as soon as possible. Diagnostic hearing testing, also known as an audiological examination, allows the audiologist to evaluate the nature and severity of a person's hearing loss.
