Wouldn’t go anywhere this dodgy business. Absolutely horrible customer service and an obvious incompetence in doing their job. Car went in for an oil leak. They fixed the leak however, did not even bother to top up the oil (4L of oil was missing from the leak) so they can’t have checked the oil level. Job description said engine was cleaned and a general check over was conducted. It is very clear that this is not true as there was a large amount of oil in the engine bay- enough to warrant us to take it to another mechanic for what we thought was another oil leak. The invoice also did not state how many hours were used on the job. Considering they stated things in the job description that weren’t done, very skeptical as to what we actually paid for. When called to question them on the job, both the receptionist and the owner were very rude and did not even offer an apology or attempt to fix the situation in anyway. Would not recommend them to anyone.

I would NOT recommend Smart Off-road Mechanical. Dropped my car in last Monday for a same-day job. A week and a half later, with never a SINGLE phone call from the company (despite us calling them multiple times) the $600 job ended up being $2200 without ever telling us of the change. Failure to order the correct parts, swapping them out for parts double the price without giving us the option to wait (another) 2 weeks for them to be ordered in. The #1 issue was pure laziness with communication.
