What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnosis is the method whereby we use relaxation, fixation or trance to induce a deeply relaxed body and a highly focused centre of attention in the subconscious mind. When we are in that altered state of trance and awareness our subconscious mind is open, accessible and highly responsive to suggestion or direction.
How do I know if I can be hypnotised?
Trance is a natural phenomenon that we spontaneously slip into many times throughout the day. (Daydreaming is a fantastic example of this) To be a successful candidate for hypnosis, clients only need to be able to sit back, listen to the suggestions they are given and allow their body to relax and enter that state of trance as guided.
