We had a horrible experience with this tavern, trying to go in with a group of friends on a Saturday night, and ONLY 1 in our group was discriminated against for neruodivergence and denied entry for being "intoxicated". Highly discriminatory and very unfair treatment, and this venue won't get my support anymore.

Saturday 29th July Squid starter was drowning in oil, my partner and I went through 20odd napkins soaking the grease out of our entree, squid was tender, but lost all taste to the oil. I had the lamb, which was over cooked, very fatty and dry. Not very much meat at all for a $22 shoulder. My partner had the ribs, and was up and down all night getting rid of them. We both immediately felt discomfort after eating our meals. .... Beer was also dirty tasting.

Food was ok but took ages to get to us. The beer lines need to be cleaned, the tap beer had a distinctly 'off' flavour. When I pointed this out to the hotel manager he rudely dismissed my criticism and told me if I wasn't happy I should go elsewhere.
