I went there to check out a weird noise in my Subaru transmission. Bill was exceptional to deal with from the test drive through to the work done on my vehicule. Thanks for caring so much about your customers and their cars.

I took my car into Jason at Ron Hill a few months ago as it was presenting with a reverse gear problem, sometimes sticking in reverse so I took it into Jason and he told me I needed a new clutch $1400. Within a week it presented with the same problem and I thought it might need to settle in. Well it didn't and I took it back and he told me it was the clutch cable. I have had many expert opinion on the matter and they all agree that the car was misdiagnosed and didn't need the new clutch as it never presented with any problem except the reverse and the cable should have been looked at first. The car has only done 85,000 km total. The new clutch cable cost me $105 and he didn't charge for labour, he did it in "good faith" that's because he knows he's done the wrong thing. Please don't take your car to Ron Hills.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if I don’t service my transmission?

Transmission life will be shortened dramatically. The internal filter can block, rubber seals will harden and fluid additives will diminish.
