Walked in to order fish and chips and the guy behind the counter informed me that they’re using fresh not frozen chips due to frozen chip shortage. I was excited and couldn’t wait to try them as it would bring back many childhood memories. First bite was amazing, crisp and delicious, So good it was like an upmarket restaurant! If only every place used fresh not frozen! The fish was also amazing you could tell they cut and batter they’re own fish as it’s not that frozen stuff. I will be back to try the rest of your food! You can tell these guys care about presentation when I saw him make other peoples burgers. So happy I found a gem in a little town off the main road. 15/10

Stopped for lunch on our way back to Melbourne. Chips, fish, potato cakes and nuggets all super fresh, tasty and cooked to perfection. The best we have had in a very long time

We just had magnificent hamburgers at the Rochester Fish Shop! A friend we recommended the place to said that they never had anything as good as their fish and chips.
