I am a 43 year old male who has worked in the hospitality industry for most of my life. I've seen many healthcare practitioners over the years to address the lifelong problems associated with Legg-Calve-Perthes disease, a degenerative bone condition which developed in one of my hips during childhood. After many years enduring the pain and stress caused by this condition, including severe osteoarthritis, I finally received a total hip replacement. This sorted out the pain in my hip but didn't address the problems associated with such a long term condition. My skeletal and muscular systems were out of balance after years of favouring my left side. In fact, my entire body/nervous/digestive systems were wrecked after several corrective surgical procedures and years of taking pharmaceutical drugs.
