No response to email for pricing went elsewhere and had it fixed within 1 hour

Ive been waiting on my $2000 phone to come back from roadhouse for a month now. I sent it in through Harvey Norman with a cracked screen, three days later I paid $507 for a new screen and a premium screen protector. the lady on the phone told me it would be repaired that day and sent back the next. 2.5 weeks later still nothing not even a text message. I didnt want to be a complaining Karen but I felt the need to call as I was becoming worried. I called Harvey Norman first and they told me this was a common occurrence from Roadhouse who have a history of bad communication with customers. On the phone to Roadhouse the lady told me that the repair was delayed due to not having the part but explained that they had received it that day and it would be fixed and sent out the following day. I asked why I hadnt been contacted notified about the delay and she apologised and i gave them benefit of the doubt. 7 days later still no phone or no update about where it is. I call them up and speak to

Went to the phone repairs section after referral from telstra. Young lady at the shop was simply magnificent. Friendly effective service with a smile and kindness.

Fantastic customer service. Keypad was not working fully after 11 months of use. The display was replaced and unit upgraded to latest available software version. Contacts and antennas cleaned. Unit had been sent for repair on 7th Dec with Ipec and I received it back from repair in 7 days. Well done Roadhound Electronics.
