Why should I have my teeth checked six monthly?
Problems in your mouth can happen and deteriorate quickly without you even knowing. Once pain happens, it’s usually too late to do minor procedures. Small decay can get much larger, and gum disease can progress quickly. By having your teeth checked and cleaned every six months, we can detect issues before they become major.
Why do I need X-rays?
Just by looking in your mouth, we cannot see between your teeth or below your gums; X-rays are our eyes in these areas. They allow us to see small decays forming between the teeth, bone level surrounding the teeth, infections around the ends of the roots, and what may be happening with our teeth below the gums.
