We recently bought a new vanity and Caesarstone top through NU bathrooms in Arundel. The Caesarstone top has a 15mm warp, machining marks in two places and a large blemish under the glazed surface. Regency Stone supplied the top and sent two installers out to inspect it. Their first comments were- That's a doozy isn't it, and told us it could not be fixed. At that meeting, we discussed a replacement with us paying the difference for a different top. Subsequently, their director Davin Britton wrote to us telling us that his staff did not have the authority to do that and alleged that his staff did not agree to replace it. He got as far as agreeing to take it away and see if they could straighten it 'as a gesture of goodwill'. This was then withdrawn, pushing us back to the shop, as they did not sell it directly to us. The shop was their customer. The correspondence between us has been completely of no responsibility and no help. Not good customer service for the shoddy product.
