About Raintree Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture
Raintree was created with one simple intention: to slow things down. After working across many clinics over 2 decades, Renee wanted to build a space where there's time to slow down, to listen and to heal. At Raintree, acupuncture is thoughtful and unhurried. Renee provides care that is personal, considered, and grounded in experience of the rich knowledge and wisdom of Chinese Medicine. Providing detailed treatment plans, you'll always know what to expect in each treatment, how many sessions you may need, and what steps you can take along the healing journey.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Acupuncture painful?
Not at all. You may feel a mild sensation—tingling, dullness, or warmth—but most people find it deeply relaxing, and often fall asleep during treatment.
What happens during an appointment?
Before you arrive, you'll complete a short intake form. This means more time on the table and less time talking. Renee will go over your main concerns and check your pulse, tongue, and abdomen. Then you'll receive a tailored treatment, which may include acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, or gua sha. Most sessions include 25–30 minutes of quiet rest with the needles in.
