Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a consultation go for?
If you are consulting regarding a lesion or skin cancer you can expect your consultation to last from 15 – 30 minutes. If you are consulting regarding a cosmetic procedure, you can expect your consultation to last from 45minutes to an hour.
Can I have my consultation and procedure done on the same day?
For patients who need to travel to see us for treatment of lesions or skin cancers, we sometimes are able to offer the option of scheduling your consultation and procedure to be done on the same day or in the same trip. In order to do this, you will need a valid referral from your GP and we will require photographs to be sent through for the surgeon to assess. Once the photograph and referral have been reviewed by the surgeon and the details of any required surgery have been confirmed, a surgical consultant will be in contact with you to provide quotes and discuss possible appointment dates.
