Our clinic treats your injury in a relaxed and friendly environment and offers the option of clinical Pilates as part of your rehabilitation program. The goal of physiotherapy is to offer a long term solution to your injury. Physiotherapy aims to diagnose, assess and treat people with movement problems to restore normal function. Physiotherapists are highly trained practitioners in diagnosing injuries in all areas of your body, from acute sports injuries, to chronic work related injuries, to arthritic conditions, postural dysfunction's, in both the young and the elderly. We work closely with specialists and GPs and if there is any condition that requires medical or surgical intervention, we will recommend the most appropriate pathway. All our physiotherapists use a variety of techniques to optimise healing and minimise pain. We then prescribe exercises to maximise joint mobility, stability, and hence a long term solution for a happy body. Private health rebates, HICAPS and EFTPOS facilities available. All physiotherapists can treat Workcover, Third Party and Veteran Affairs. Our clinic uses DMA clinical reformers and trapeze apparatus, barrels, balls, weights, wobble boards and mats. Frequently Asked Questions
How many treatments will I need to feel better?
That depends on the condition we are treating. Some people experience relief after one visit. Others will need care for months, in which case, we will monitor your progress regularly and adjust treatment accordingly. The goal is for you to not only feel better but to enjoy an improved quality of life long-term.
Is physiotherapy painful?
There might be slight discomfort or soreness the following day, but it should lessen in a day or two. With continued treatment, and as muscles strengthen, pain should decrease considerably or disappear altogether.
