PJ's do not separate their male and female rats! My daughter in law recently bought two tiny baby girl rats and this morning she told me one of them had babies. A baby having babies? THIS IS NOT OK!!! I enquired to one of the staff as to to why aren't they separating the males from the females given the inevitable. His reply was 'not our problem'. Then he said, 'bring them back when they are big enough if you want'. I am disgusted at the lack of care and concern shown towards these beautiful little creatures while they are in the care of this shop, not to mention their customers who believe they are getting just one rat if that's all they want or can handle. Tiny little boy and girl rats are thrown in with bigger rats and are attacked and become pregnant and are probably hurt and traumatised in the process. As for the babies? I'm sure in some cases it doesn't end well for them. My pet rats mean as much to me as my dog and my cats. You guys probably support the live dog meat trade, yes?
