Does Medicare cover physiotherapy?
Medicare Australia can provide a subsidy for up to 5 physiotherapy sessions for those who meet a specific criterion relating to chronic conditions. To receive these Medicare-covered treatment sessions described as either as Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan or a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan, you must have a referral from your GP.
