I have been using this store for all my painting and sanding supplies for over two years. Trevor has guided me in help with getting rid of mould, blocking tannins, floor paints, specialised roof paint, rust etc. All sorts of great advice with my project.

I wanted some jotun marine paint, was proposed some international instead, but received some “sigmadur” instead, never heard of brand from Indonesia... the packaging is out of tin foil, leaking and useless ☹️☹️☹️ As an explanation/excuse, I was told by the manager that I was not the first one to complain, and surely not the last one !!!! The price is of course the same than international and higher than jotun.... not impressed at all !! And that’s an understatement!!!

My bathroom has been previously coated in enamel and I now want to use a water based finish. What do I need to do?

The walls need to be thoroughly washed with a mix of water and sugar soap, rinsed and sanded so that no gloss remains. One coat of acrylic sealer undercoat is necessary for adhesion before two topcoats of preferably a satin acrylic is applied.
