Our son has been attending Okukan Karate since he was 4 and he’s now 8. We travel from South Yarra to Coburg since the karate school changed location but it’s well worth it. We tried 2 other karate schools closer to home but nothing compares with the professionalism and dedication offered in Sensai Sandra’s classes and overall teaching style. She instills discipline, manners and respect for each other and the craft of Karate and the students respond accordingly. Other schools we tried had no control and so learning was minimal. Meg handles the administrative side and is also extremely professional and well organized. Highly recommended!

Okukan dojo is the best. Sensai Sandra is highly technical, giving, firm but also fun with the children. I am very impressed with her dojo and teaching style. I cannot recommend Sensai Sandra enough.
