I recently had a will and enduring power of attorney updated. Cathy Fon was extremely professional and very pleasant to deal with. The price was extremely reasonable and the office staff were also very helpful. Rochelle was absolutely marvellous.

Tyla and Robyn assisted me in purchasing my first home and were absolutely amazing. Purchasing estate from the public trust meant that amendments were more time consuming than what they normally would have been if transacted traditionally with another real estate agents/private sellers solicitor. Admittedly, the amendments were due to my own ignorance (omission of middle name); however, Tyla and Robyn were able to navigate through the numerous bottlenecks and pressing timelines and kept me updated on progress regularly. They responded immediately bringing peace of mind. Highly recommend firm. Thanks ladies :)

For the first time in my life I found myself needing a solicitor. After googling, I randomly chose to call o’Shea and dyer solicitors. And so happy I did. After having a consultation with Emma, both me and my partner where extremely happy with how it went. I couldn’t have asked for a better solicitor. We got a quick outcome and if ever we need a solicitor again, I would go straight to Emma. Also the receptionist was lovely too. Thank you ladies, for making things smooth quick and easy in a stressful time of our lives.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can people contest my Will if I leave them a Bequest?

Yes, they may still have the right to contest the Will if they feel they are entitled to a larger share of the Estate. These disputes often require an application to the Supreme or District Court for determination. Specific matters must be proved for applications to succeed.

What is an Enduring Power of Attorney?

Unlike a General Power of Attorney, the powers under an Enduring Power of Attorney continue even if you lose the capacity to make decisions for yourself. An Enduring Power of Attorney allows you to give your Attorney the power to make financial decisions and also personal and/or health decisions.
