Our independent team can work on your project 7 days a week to deliver on time and budget. We have developed strategic relationships with engineering consultants, architects, surveyors, earthworks contractors, and environmental consultants who have complementary skill sets thereby enabling us to combine our expertise to deliver multi-disciplinary projects throughout the Northern Territory and Western Australia. Originally from the UK, we have worked in the Geotechnical Engineering industry for over 25 years. We met whilst studying at the University of Plymouth (UK), with Steve going on to study MSc in Engineering Geology at the University of Leeds. ​Work subsequently took us to Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand before we returned to settle permanently in Australia in 2008, with our sons Harry and Tom. ​The dream of running our own business was fulfilled with us setting up 'NT Geotechnics' in Darwin in 2014. With an ever-increasing workload in Western Australia, we have since changed our name to 'WANT Geotechnics'. We have undertaken numerous projects across the Northern Territory and Western Australia, delivering a diverse range of ground investigations spanning infrastructure, defence, mining, commercial and residential developments, and even space exploration with involvement in NASA's Sounding Rockets Facility in remote Arnhem Land.
