I was given a quote of $390 for fitting and installation of a hot water system that I supplied. They left me all over Easter with no hot water even though I told them I had no hot water and it was urgent. Then their worker sat on the phone for nearly an hour talking about a car he was going to pick up. Then I received a bill for over $1200 which I promptly contacted them about as they didn't supply the hot water system I did. So then they sent me a bill for over $500 and when I contacted them again to tell them they quoted me $390 fully fitted over the phone they told me that they would never have given me that Quote. I do not recommend this business at all unless you wish to get ripped off by paying over the quoted price plus for labour that wasn't performed cause their worker was on his phone gas bagging.

Poor quality job. We needed three areas of gutter and down pipes repaired. Quoting was prompt and friendly enough. The guttering installation leaked and water pooling in one end of the gutter. The gutter surrounding the down pipe installed is leaking adjacent to the down pipe. The whole point of the job is to flow water with gutters and pipes, instead I still have leaking gutters. To have it fixed I’ve been told, there is more cost. Would not recommend.

Very impressed. Everyone a Newk's has been so helpful and friendly. Came out quickly (and we live a long way out of town). Fixed the gas leak, moved the regulator to a much better spot, installed hot water system and fixed some very dodgy plumbing that had been done by someone else years ago. Professional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. I know who I'll be calling next time we need any plumbing or gas work done :-)

Very impressed, prompt, reliable and reasonable. They gave the quickest quote, took the time to come out and quote properly (before the others called could even get around to returning my call) Did a thorough job and took the time to explain everything to my wife including care of the appliances! (I wasn't home when they did the job). Very impressed!

Didn't even want to rate 1 starâ€”not worth any stars. Called these guys on a Sunday night with no other option for our family and were told best they could do was next morning. So much for 24/7 emergency service. Won't be recommending this lot.
