About Munro School of Irish Dancing
Munro School of Irish Dancing is a centre of excellence for Irish Dancing, founded upon decades of dancing and teaching experience. We aspire to ignite the love of Irish Dancing in a positive and fun environment, and to continue the legacy of our founder, Kay Munro, who established the school in 1964. We have grown to become a leading Irish Dancing school in North Queensland, and we pride ourselves on our commitment to providing a unique and inspiring learning experience. At the Munro School of Irish Dancing, we offer a range of classes to suit all ages and experience levels. Our classes are taught by experienced, passionate and highly qualified teachers. Located in Mackay and the Whitsundays, North Queensland, we welcome students of all ages and experience, to learn and love the tradition of Irish dancing whether it be competitively or just for fun. New starters are welcome throughout the year.
