Since opening our doors on the Gold Coast's surf mecca, Main Beach, in 2010, and launching our second salon in the cosmopolitan shopping and dining hub of Isle of Capri in 2013 we, the Mow Hair team, have worked hard to establish ourselves as one of the best salon names on the Gold Coast, offering a range of professional hair services including cutting and styling, creative hair colour and Keratin smoothing treatments. My Wife has been going there for sometime.. Every-time she comes home we are not Happy with what she wanted/ Received!!! Colour is away wrong and after 1st wash it’s even worse!! She has call back to the salon to get more Foils / Fixed !! The Answer No , and were too busy to Rectify the Hair . Also mentioned she was Happy to Pay , but Couldn’t abolish her in !! Sarah ( Hairdresser) then Call Twice and Abused My Wife which lead to My Wife hanging up on her Twice.. Not Good Enough for such a well established Business in Isle of Capri .. We Needed to Express Our Dealings with This Salon . 😣 Lee has just requested to find another Salon. Thank You Very Much..

I am writing this review as I don’t know how to remove my last review. After the experience I had the owner Lee went out of his way to help accommodate me . I have full confidence in returning to Mow Hair . I am going to grow my hair and then return back to Mow for a cut and colour.

I have been going to Mow Hair for over 5 years and sadly each time I go I do not get what I have asked for. The last 2 times was horrendous! Especially last Wednesday I ended up in tears with a cut that looked like a bowl was placed on my head. Luckily the owner was there by chance and was able to fix my hair! Still with this horrible experience I was charged $300+for a cut I didn’t want and a colour that I also did not ask for. Extremely disappointed with this and certainly will not be going back to Mow. Sadly the owner is a lovely man but the stylist are not what you pay for.

Have to say, Mow Hair is the best hair dresser on the Gold Coast! Have not been anywhere else that can beat them. They have helped me with more than one dramatic change to my hair and managed to keep it healthy and looking great at all times. There is no one I would trust more than Lee. With a pair of scissors and Kate does the best colour, but every staff member there is amazing. The service and atmosphere is perfect too. I love coming to this salon, they cater for everyone and every hairstyle.
