Morgan Bikes offer a large variety of bikes and scooters and are happy to discuss your particular needs in order to get you the correct scooter, skateboard, or bike style and size for your needs. We offer quality service and repairs of all makes and models by a qualified bicycle technician at reasonable prices, along with a huge range of scooters and accessories. We run a family-owned store, with staff that are passionate about bikes. Our team know that it is never too early, or too late, to start cycling. That's why our store carries a range of bikes to suit all ages, abilities and styles. We proudly stock mountain bikes, road bikes, BMX, lifestyle bikes, scooters, balance bikes and much more. Morgan Bikes have our own qualified bicycle technician with more than 17 years experience onsite to handle any accessory fitting or repairs that you may need. We also carry out bike servicing, simply drop it in to us and we will call you when it's ready to go again. All of our bikes are sold fully assembled, so all you have to worry about is enjoying your ride. Absolute worst experience buying a bike, the pure arrogance from the owners is a joke especially after we got a bike for my son and it didn’t even last a month before we had to get new parts, and was told it was all my sons fault as the owner had not seen that before, the attitude from this place is pathetic and the customer service is just as bad. Will not buy anything from here again and after talking to my friends who live in Wallsend and surrounds, this is not an isolated incident.

Hi Phil, We do not agree that we were rude at all. We found your behaviour in our store appalling and aggressive. It was explained to you that by looking at the broken pedals and bent seat rails- it was determined by us and the bike brand's owner that the damage was caused via impacts, and such damage is not covered by warranty as it is not a manufacturer's defect. At the time of purchase, we specifically mentioned to your family members that the bike was not made to handle big impacts. They assured us that he only rides on the road to and from school. As a goodwill gesture- we supplied you with a new seat and pedals, and installed these parts for free. We were then also informed that a second lot of pedals had been purchased elsewhere, and had been broken as well in the meantime. It's disappointing to now see this review, as we hoped that we had ended things on a good note with you. Regards, Morgan Bikes

“17/9/20. Today I walked into the Morgan Bike store and waited while the staff talked to each before even acknowledging me. The owners behaviour was atrocious and rude. I had explained to him that I needed help in fixing a client's bike who is struggling with Mental illness and that I was a registered Nurse trying to support him to get his bike up & running. He was not willing to help, stating that the bike was store bought and that he did not have time to fix it. And after this behaviour he stated, "I might sound heartless but my friend is dieing of cancer and I don't have time to fix his bike". I really don't know how this Person is in business. I was appalled & shocked by my experience today.”

Glen is a excellent bicycle mechanic He has wealth of knowledge and skills mean you are always serviced well. Highly recommend Morgan bikes.

I’m always impressed with Glen’s knowledge and ability surrounding bikes. My son purchased a bike from Morgan’s bike last year and Glen was very helpful in assisting him at the time and also after with repairs as he has needed them. Each time I have been impressed with Glen’s professionalism and customer service and grateful my son chose to purchase a bike at a small family run business!

I went into Morgan's bikes this morning with some very specific needs for our son, the staff were very friendly and helpful they knew their stuff and were able to find several options to help with our needs. They customised a bike to our sons needs and I have picked up a bike this afternoon that surpasses my expectations and meets our sons needs. Even helped load it in the car. I will definitely be back. Have a wonderful Christmas.
