Mod Thai Nelson Bay

Waiting 3 hours for the food and still not get delivered ! What a shame, first time holiday in Nelson Bay but choose the wronh restaurant.

Just had dinner here. The foods are so bad that I have never had. The beef and chicken meat are so unfresh and sting. Don’t come to this restaurant. They charged 10% surcharge for today as Easter that is understandable but the food is absolutely bad bad bad

After 4 hours of wait time and threatening phone calls by the owner a $50.00 bill might be refunded. The abuse. The promises that someone will get the food. Really BAD don't deal with them. Seriously we are locals not fly in fly out. We have been customers for years but this means nothing. REALLY BAD NO FOOD AND POOR PLUS DISCUTING CUSTOMER SERVICE

Very weird dinner here on Friday night. Food was nice but waitress kept trying to take food away while we were still eating. We asked for the dessert menu and were told there was no desserts tonight as “they had not had time to prep today”. We picked this restaurant as they had deep fried ice cream on their menu. Since when does a restaurant not have time to prep? It’s a restaurant! That’s your job! Disappointing.

We ordered our food this evening at 6:10 and was told that delivery was 40 mins. When our order arrived part was missing, we phoned to tell them and was told they would sent it straight out. And hour later and three phone calls and we are still waiting! The final phone call after complaining yet again, and being extremely frustrated we were told they didn’t want our money and hung up the phone. I understand it’s the weekend and is busy, but the customer service in correcting their error was so shockingly bad that we will never order from them again. Unfortunately we had paid over the phone so they still have our mine...and our food. Should have been such a simple fix but regular customers are clearly not valued.

Beautiful food. Tender beef & chunky vegetables. Courteous friendly service. A great experience all round.
