Miners Mate Mechanical is a fully licensed and insured auto mechanic. We provide a comprehensive range of automotive servicing and mechanical repairs to motorists in Mount Isa and surrounding areas. We didn’t an issue with our camper trailer’s raising mechanism. Called in to see if they could help. We were only traveling through but they dropped everything and within an hour had it fixed and we were able to continue our trip. Service was friendly and first rate. Two very grateful and happy travelers. We Highly recommend them Ken & Rozeta.

We were very lucky to break down right at the entrance to Tobermory Station on the Plenty Hwy & limped in to their van park. Wendy in the office was so helpful and allowed us to use the stations phone to call RACQ. They organised us to be towed into Mt Isa by Miners Mate., the local RACQ reps. This necessitated a 560klms round trip for them to collect our car & caravan, a dry & dusty trip with a short comfort stop at the Urandangie Pub. The guys at Miners Mate were awesome, they ordered parts from Brisbane & fixing the problem in record time. We can't thank them enough, the service was great & all involved were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

We had a vehicle that needed an urgent repair done. . We called Miners Mate ahead of arriving in Mt Isa and explained our problem we were having with the Landcruiser. The guys at Miners Mate asked us to take a look at a couple of things while we were parked on the side of the road (in Richmond). They then worked out the possible cause of our fault & had the parts brought in from Townsville so as to limit the time we were off the road. These guys were amazing - we arrived in the morning and had the car returned to us by the afternoon. . Well done to the guys at Miners Mate, we will be recommending them to everyone we can.

Our car was towed to Miner's Mate Mechanics after it broke down just before Mount Isa. We were so grateful for what they did for us! We didn't have much money being backpackers - but they were wonderful.. They had a look at the car The whole staff were so friendly and we were able to afford the repairs. Thank you so so much again!
