The Bracelet I presented you with was a bit of a challenge,.... After you came up with a few ideas.. the owner was eager to have the job done... This bracelet was the last gift her husband had given her... before he passed... You have given my beautiful friend so much happiness..... I have had my watches fixed at Melville’s many, many times and believe the service to be outstanding; mostly my watch battery is changed in the slot while I wait. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about jewellery design and precious stones. My daughter had a ring made with them and it is stunning. Very happy.

Honest, professional and creative……I always have my jewellery repairs done at Melville’s because I know from experience that the piece I put in for repair is the piece I get back, cleaned, polished and beautifully repaired, for a very reasonable price. Melville’s melt old gold pieces and re-design to your specifications. I have had several pieces made this way and very happy to say the jewellers take the time to listen to your ideas and each and every time I have been pleased. I highly recommend Melville’s jewellers and the quality of their work.

I have dealt with Melville jewellers for approximately 20yrs and in that time I have had numerous repairs done and also a few remakes which I have been very happy with the results.Neil is always very honest and helpful with me and on occasions when I'm in doubt he always reassures me and in the end the pieces always turn out better than my expectations. I would highly recommend him to anyone thinking of having repairs done to there jewellery or having there piece changed and remade into something stunning..

I have dealt with this company for the last 40 years and have never experienced or heard of any problems of this nature. I am in the jewellery industry and I highly recommend Melvilles Jewellers for quality work. It is a shame that one person can put a scathing attack on a company, when the company do not have the rights to defend themselves, and there are 2 sides to a story. Brian Eastcoast Diamond Services

Worst jeweller I have ever dealt with! Completely untrustworthy!! Please do not leave your precious pieces with this jeweller. I have never dealt with someone so untrustworthy and unwilling to admit fault in my life. He completely scammed my great grandmother. She took a very sentimental bracelet in with a stone which had fallen out and needed to be reset. She was told it would be an hour, she returned and it was not done. Went back a few days later to be given her bracelet with a completely different stone in it...not the same colour or shape. Very obviously different. And this low life assured my 94 year old grandmother that this was the stone she left. Completely disgraceful to take advantage of an elderly lady like that

Have had two watch batteries put in from this jeweller. Both times straight after the glass fell out when I got it home. The first time fixed no worries. Second time he denied it was his fault and wouldn't fix it saying it was faulty. A Longines watch. Very rude to me! I do NOT recommend this owner/jeweller!!!!!!!!
