About Matilda's End Holiday Units
Situated on the mouth of the Norman River which flows into the Gulf of Carpentaria and is the centre of the Gulf's prawn and barramundi industries. Karumba is at the end of the Matilda Highway and is aptly named 'The Outback By The Sea'. Karumba is serviced by a bitumen road from both the east and south so access is not difficult during either the winter months or the monsoon season, before travelling over the wet it is advisable to check the road conditions
