I am a retired teacher (B.App.Sc. Grad.Dip.Ed.) with a passion for maths and have taught maths from K-12 for both the NSW and QLD DET and NSW TAFE. A home school, ADHD and ASD specialist Maths tutor My ability to quickly create and maintain relationships that build confidence and independence, provides a safe space to explore and master maths. My passion and sense of humour has many clients shift from an "I can't do it", to an “I can” mindset. If a student has not fully understood a maths topic they can easily fall behind as maths learning is cumulative. Ideas and principles build on each other, so identifying these gaps and addressing them is the huge advantage of tutoring. The program I use is based on the Australian Curriculum and allows me to individually tailor programs to bridge the gap on any missing foundation skills. Allowing clients to catch up, keep up or excel with programs that challenge without stress, anxiety or overwhelm. Clients have 24/7 access to the entire Curriculum, with all results recorded to easily monitor progress, plus extra diagnostics provided through topic tests.
