Frequently Asked Questions

Should I visit the dentist regularly - even if there isn't a problem?

Yes, this is the best way to prevent future dental issues. By coming once every six months, we are able to monitor any changes or problems with your teeth and mouth if they arise. Regular check-ups identify problems before they arise, meaning they can be dealt with quickly, reducing the likelihood of extensive future treatment and higher costs.

When should my child first see the dentist?

Your child should see visit the dentist for the first time 6 months after their first tooth comes through, or when they reach 12 months. This allows us to carefully examine the development of their mouth and identify any problems early, such as baby bottle tooth decay, teething irritations and prolonged thumb-sucking.
